Making your own foaming soap is an easy and quick way to give a perfect soap to your hands. If you are living in frugality, it would be really helpful to save money.

Usually we purchase antibacterial soap that contains triclosan, which is not good at all, avoid using soap that contains this chemical. It’s better to try out your own hand made soap for your hands. Making soap at home is so simple and easy that I feel funny to share it with you, but there are many people who are interested in finding out ways to make the hand soap at home.

Here is the procedure and all the ingredients you would need to make hand soap.

1.    Foaming Soap Dispenser: You would need to buy a bottle of foaming soap dispenser; one bottle of foaming soap dispenser will make up many bottles of hand made soap for you. You might not find it on ordinary grocery markets; try to find it on places like Bed, Bath and Beyond. If you still not find it then you would definitely get it online.
2.    Liquid Castile Soap: You can use any fragrance that you like. Because it is diluted so fragrance does not matter a lot. Try to get one with the bigger bottle so that you can use it again. There are many but I use Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint castile soap due to its lovely light fragrance.

Procedure:

1.    You first need to fill up the bottle in which you want to prepare the liquid soap. You have to add water first because adding soap first would spill out as you fill it with water.

2.    Add a tablespoon of castile soap in the bottle, close it tightly and shake well so that the water and castile soap are mixed thoroughly. You would have to add the soap according to your needs, adding too much of soap would cause your hands to feel slippery and difficult to rinse off. While if you use soap too little you would face difficulty in spreading it on your hand.

One bottle of foaming soap would cost you only 20 cents, it depends on your castile soap and how much you use. One bottle can easily last for a while, unless your kids start using it all over their body.

Making hand soap at your home is as easy as it is. It would save you quite a lot of money. Because it’s something we all use multiple times everyday. So if you are live a frugal life it would really help you a lot. This is not all; you can make many similar things at home, like home cleaners and aftershaves. Using these simple recipes for home made things you can save a lot of money.
